DESCRIPTION:
Assist school districts in developing plans for Disaster Recovery /Business Continuity responses to systems failures, loss of utilities, environmental disasters and deliberate disruptions of service. Planning may include identification of key staff responsibilities for the duration of various disaster recovery responses, communication protocols, applications inventory including Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs), Plan documentation – including update and offsite location strategies, and scheduled testing of the Disaster Recovery Plan, backups, and recovery mechanisms.
